Services Offered
Our therapy services are designed to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals, children, adolescents, families, and couples to explore challenges and work towards positive change. We offer in person and telehealth therapy to best suit you.
Individual Counseling
Individual therapy is a one-on-one conversation between you and your therapist. Each therapy session is personalized to your journey. With an expert guide by your side, you can better make sense of your emotions and overcome the obstacles in your path. Individual psychotherapy provides clients with customized strategies to quickly address time-urgent problems. Longer term issues are also addressed with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other appropriate techniques. This approach aims to create long-lasting improvement by teaching clients techniques to manage existing issues as well as to navigate future challenges on their own. Clients will capitalize on existing strengths, while learning new coping skills to overcome challenges and increase their satisfaction with life.
Couples Therapy
Every family is unique, and it can be difficult when family members can’t see eye to eye. Resolve disputes and deepen bonds with family therapy. Couples meet with a psychotherapist to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each individual and how this interaction contributes to relationship problems, as well as the positive aspects of the relationship. A collaborative approach is used to overcome barriers and enhance overall satisfaction with the relationship as well as each individual’s approach to life. Couples therapy has been shown to not only improve satisfaction with relationships, but also to alleviate symptoms associated with depression and anxiety.
Family Therapy
Many problems take place in the home environment or even across households. When family members are willing to use therapy together, this can be a highly effective treatment. Many issues are patterned across generations, have developed from early childhood experiences, and are currently still wreaking havoc in both the family relationships and interactions, as well as individual family members’ emotional lives. Family therapy can provide a setting to better understand not only the individual’s emotional problems, but the role the system plays in the overall functioning of each member. Many families discover that without help, even voicing certain problems or requests is unworkable without family therapy.
Trauma Therapy
Does every day feel like you’re reliving a nightmare? There is hope. Work with a trauma specialist to rediscover peace.
Trauma therapy can help you address the traumatic event and process your feelings and emotions. It can give you the opportunity to face your fears in a safe space and learn coping skills that can help you function on a day-to-day basis.
